Accounts and PINs are shared with Apex Goals β€” the same sign-in works in both. This is a light gate, not real security: no password hashing, no rate limiting. Anyone with the link and a PIN can read this page.

Other currencies are converted using the exchange rate that applied on each day, not today's rate β€” so past days may look slightly different from a live conversion.

Bank accounts

Name each account the way you actually refer to it, and leave out any you don't want counted. The bank's own label always stays visible underneath.

Stores

One card per Shopify store you run. Give a store the bank account(s) its money moves through and it gets a profit and loss on the Stores tab.

Payees

Someone you pay β€” a supplier, an ad platform, a contractor, a person. A payee profile folds one supplier's inconsistent bank descriptions under a single name: Google Ads catches both Google Ads4574727460 and Google Ads1506174237.

Internal transfers

Your own money moving between your own accounts. Anything matched here is kept out of payees, spending and money in/out, because counting it would double-count funds that never entered or left the business. Wise conversions and Mercury internal transfers are detected automatically β€” this is for the ones that aren't.

Categories

Rename, recolour or remove a category. Removing one puts everything tagged with it back to uncategorised β€” the transactions themselves are never touched.

Auto-tagging rules

Each rule acts on every transaction whose payee or description contains the text, past and future β€” setting its category, the store it belongs to, or both. Rules are applied when the page renders, so changing one immediately re-tags what it was covering.
